The pictures below about sum up my past one week with the family :)

Of shopping trips, lots of good food, Christmas cookie baking, mini getaway, adventure cove, unwrapping of presents, heart to heart talks and just quality time spent together

Most of the pictures are taken with my iPhone 4, which explains the blurriness, and I don't really bother editing them when I blog (where did this laziness come from) *hides face*

Have I mentioned how about 2 weeks back daddy and I went to Singtel at United Square to get me my new iPhone 5S but when we got there, the customer before me bought the last piece of the colour I wanted asdfghjkl I swear I mentally killed that person in my head. So it seems like I'm gonna be stuck with my current phone when I go to hk. Still can't decide if I should lug my camera with me, or the instax 210. Ugh but they are really heavy...

Okay rants aside, I'm just gonna end this off with 2 of the ost from the heirs. I CAN'T GET THEM OUT OF MY HEAD. IS THIS LIKE WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS FROM A DRAMA OR SOMETHING.

What's better than blogging when you can't fall asleep in the middle of the night... So here I am doing a 2am post.

Met @xwanderbirdx on Friday for our long planned sushi date at the Standing Sushi Bar at 8 Queen Street. We thought it would be tough to locate the exact position of the place but ah, iPhone's map always does wonder (along with its owner aka ME of course *coughs*). Was there in time for the lunch period and omg the food was sooo good. It's definitely worth going back again. Allow me to quote shujing: "mother of all sushi"

Don't our happy faces say it all, they are like screaming yummy yummy yummmmy!!!

We finished eating in time before the lunch period was over at 2:30pm. What happened after that? *Spots nice background* *whips out phone* *snap snap snap*

Yup, gonna end this off with a picture of me shamelessly posing for the camera. Goodnight world!

ps/ granny and cousins have arrived in Singapore last night and I've been guilt-tripping myself ever since because I booked the wrong flight for them so they ended up missing the flight they were supposed to take. Whatever it is, be it the extra money spent on purchasing new air tickets on the spot or the long hours spent waiting at the airport, I'm glad they are here with us now. I'm so excited about spending the next week with them, a short getaway to Batam and of course Christmas!!! Can't wait to take more nice pictures!! Till then, GOODNIGHT WORLD FOR REAL.

First time sending off a friend at the airport and I must say the feeling is really bittersweet? Bitter because we aren't sending him off for a holiday but possibly for good. Sweet because he finally gets to return home to his family after 2 grueling JC years!!! Oh well I guess college really does deprives us of the time we get to spend with the people we love, be it friends that we don't get to meet often or simply our family members.

Stepping into the airport really triggers a wanderlust in me! 2 more weeks to a getaway ah can't wait!! Back to the point, annyeong(bye) Joseph we're gonna miss you!!!!

Long distance friendship calls for lots of ooVoo session hahaha. We talked till 1am (Singapore time) which makes it 2am in Korea. Thankful that the time difference isn't too much hehe

Hong Kong is in 2 weeks' time and since we're attending a wedding dinner there, Clara needed to hunt for a dress to wear. I decided to go with my (supposedly) prom dress that came too late. Just hope that the weather would be forgiving cos I don't want to free my ass off in a tube dress in 10 degrees??

Did a little shopping at Vivo over the weekend and instead of looking at dresses properly, we ended up buying accessories for her dog. The clip-on ears are actually too cute to resist and we had to take pictures with them on. What more when a brick wall is spotted for the perfect picture background wahaha. ps/ yes I just realise I wore my Rudolf ears the other way round..

Ended the day with some good food from Marché and a night movie — Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Here's to more fun nights where we miss the night rider bus home and had to be stranded at the bus stop at 1am hahahaha.

There are many things to feel happy about this week. First thing first, the PJC modern dance club came in first in their first ever international dance competition with 17 other schools that was held in Hong Kong. I am so so so proud of the juniors I can't seem to emphasise enough through words alone. It's really something close to a mother feeling so much pride for her children who have come such a long way. Ame (the fatherly figure being the ex-president) and I (being the ex-vice-pres aka the mom) really wish we were there screaming hysterically in joy with them. So happy for them this calls for a celebration that we're in the process of planning for when the kids return.

Been spending a lot of time with the dancers lately. This one was when we went to O School on Monday morning to watch the juniors' final rehearsal before they board a plane to HK.

Terence, possibly one of the most inspiring instructor on earth anyone could ever ask for.

After O school, we went according to plan without Lingkai's knowledge to surprise him in advance for his birthday. It was quite funny while Ame pretended to rush off to a job interview but in fact went to get the cake and the pig balloon. And then I had to act like I needed to poop so I could meet up with her to light up the candles. The birthday boy himself went to shit (for real) and his Awfully Chocolate cake almost became Wax Chocolate cake while we camped outside the toilet to wait for him to be done. It was pleasantly hilarious hahaha!

Spent 4 hours at Play Nation after that and it was.... a painful (but fun) experience. Most of us ached like crazy the next day.

We had dinner at Ame's aunt (Irene Ang)'s Fry Bistro located at Ann Siang Hill. It's a really cozy place and it was even better because we had the whole of level 2 to ourselves :)

Had too much yummy mac & cheese and granny ang's chicken wings with her homemade recipe that we went a little insane after dinner. I swear we laughed so hard at the silliest things I got stomach cramps!!! Ended the day with lots of video taking (which I wish I was less lazy to post them..) but oh well it's always a good time with my favourite bunch.

Had a little shopping trip with Claire yesterday. As much as I am sick of going to town, it is hard to resist the year end sale that's ongoing at many of the stores especially h&m!! Please pardon the mirror selfies since I hardly ever do it hehe. On a side note, I am madly in love with my Superga that I am wearing it almost every time I am out!!!

The wind wouldn't stop blowing and messing up my hair...

and it seems that I was the only one affected pffft

I've been getting really bizarre dreams lately and it kinda sets me thinking about... stuff (when I'm awake of course). My sleeping pattern has also gotten a little screwed up and body clock's messed up. I bet my body must be secretly hatin' on me for ill treating it. But it's really not what I want too.. some nights I just can't fall asleep?!

Anyway it seems like time is passing pretty slowly these days. It must be because I haven't started work yet so I basically rot at home on days when I'm not out. And that makes it convenient for mommy to say "you're spending more than you're earning hor". Oh well, truth is I can't wait to go back to work at Berries. Gonna start officially on January 5th because they are closing for the school holidays soon. Meanwhile, things worth looking forward to: 9 days to Batam for a beachy getaway (not confirmed yet though), 12 days to Christmas and 17 days to Hong Kong with my annoying puff.
