I still remember blogging a little more than a year ago about my aunt from Malaysia who was diagnosed with cancer. On the 10th this month, my aunty passed away. It was heartbreaking and the family went through heartaches but I am thankful that most of us have recovered from the pain that wasn't too easy to deal with when it first came. There's still some sadness lingering around the house every now and then, but it's a blessing to know that aunty Carol is in a better place now, freed from all the pain and suffering, and watching over us from above. Cancer may have won the battle, but to my dearest aunty, your fighting spirit is what taught the children to stay strong and never give up. The family and I will miss you forever.
"If only there could be an invention that bottled up a memory, like scent. And it never faded, and it never got stale. And then, when one wanted it, the bottle could be uncorked, and it would be like living the moment all over again."
Moving on, and on a lighter note, here's to POST A-FREAKING-LEVELS. I am so done with exams!!!!!!! There are probably 100000 reasons why I'm all hyped up about the end of A's and the list just goes on and on and on, but the main things: 6 days to graduation night. 8 days to going back to work and seeing my cutie pies at Berries. 14 days to daddy's birthday. 27 days to Christmas. 32 days to Hong Kong. 34 days to yet another new start.
