This post will be quite incoherent because my thoughts are all over the place. I've been holding back about this for a few days now.. but I think I'll feel better writing it down. Results for year 1 have been released online about a week ago and sadly, I failed 1.5 modules by just a measly few marks. It feels the worst when you know you're this close to clearing a particular module. By the way, I flunked my econs and math (as if it's not already obvious enough that numbers AND formulas AND multiple choice questions are not my forte).
I know this isn't the most unpleasant scenario for me, considering how I have friends who did worst than me but I'm sure our parents all taught us at some point in life (well at least that's what my mom used to say to me), to always compare myself with those who are better so that I improve. And I find myself reflecting on two things in general for year 1.
1/ The freedom of university life made me sluggish. With that said, yes I studied, but it wasn't adequate.
2/ I wouldn't say dancing has been a major hindrance to my studying process but I feel that I was overly-committed to dance this year and this, I am liable for it.
“Positive people also have negative thoughts. They just don’t let those thoughts grow and destroy them.”
this is pretty much me & my life motto right now
